The Spice & Tea Exchange, which started in St. Augustine in 2005, will open at the outdoor shopping destination at Lake Victoria Gardens Avenue in mid-November. The roughly 700-square-foot store near Style So Chic and Lola Chiq will be the first in Palm Beach County, according to a news release. More locations are expected in the next few years.

The shop sells more than 140 spices, salts from around the world, naturally-flavored sugars, salts from around the world and more than 30 exotic and gourmet teas, the release states.

Franchise owners John and Esperanza Gekas are behind the Downtown at the Gardens locations.

“This unique, welcoming concept is nothing like your traditional spice aisle; everything is blended in-store so you can discover hundreds of new aromas to enhance your culinary experience,” John Gekas said in the release.
