Construction is continuing at Azure, a development on the west side of the Intracoastal Waterway on Donald Ross Road — showing the market remains hot for luxury waterfront residences.

Frankel Enterprises, which also build Admiral’s Cove and Valencia Cove in Jupiter and San Michele in Palm Beach Gardens, is building the development.

The gated community, expected to open in the spring of 2016, will have two five-story buildings, both private residences and condominiums.

Prices for units, which will be between about 2,000 and 3,800 square feet, start at about $900,000.

Dockage is available adjacent Loggerhead Marina, where the development has about 1,000 feet of marina frontage.

Luxury waterfront residences are in high demand in north county.

Water Club, just south of the Parker bridge in North Palm Beach,  is under construction. Prices are expected to start at about $800,000.

Another luxury waterfront development, the 48-unit Frenchman’s Harbor, is almost complete on the east side of the Intracoastal Waterway on Donald Ross Road.

All Frenchman Harbor homes — some as large as 7,000 square feet –  in the gated community have access to private dock space on the east side of the Intracoastal Waterway.
