Plans for a mini-golf course in Abacoa are scheduled to go before the town planning and zoning staff April 12.

The plan by LF ATC LLC calls for spending about $500,000 to build the 18-hole course on the northeast corner of Main Street and Chancellor Drive.

The Jupiter-based company in March paid $5.1 million for 93,000 square feet of Abacoa commercial property, along with about 3 acres of vacant land that would be used for the golf course.

The plan includes a 2,400-square-foot retail building.

The town council, which must approve the plan before construction can begin, is scheduled to consider the proposal on May. 17.
