LeBron James can own the basketball court, but does he know good pizza?

We’ll find out. Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza will open tomorrow at Mainstreet at Midtown, 4665 PGA Blvd. It pays to wait a day to check it out, though. The restaurant will offer free build-your-own pizzas from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, March 11, to anyone who follows its Instagram, Twitter or Facebook, according to a news release.

The Palm Beach Gardens location will have wine and craft beer, plus gluten-free dough and vegan cheese for people with dietary restrictions. There will be seating for 60 at the restaurant, where diners can customize 11-inch pizzas from a menu or create their own for about $8.

The pizzas take about three minutes to cook in an open-flame oven. Other Blaze specialties include fresh salads, blood orange lemonade and s’more pies, according to the release.

James, the NBA All Star, is part of the Levy Family Partners investment group behind the California pizza chain’s expansion into South Florida. Another location will open soon at 250 S. State Road 7 in Royal Palm Beach. There’s already one in Boca Raton.
