Office workers on lunch breaks and families looking for a quick bite to eat after soccer practice have another place to get their fill.
Jersey Mike’s Subs, the chain selling sandwiches known as subs or hoagies depending on what part of the Northeast you call home, has opened at 3333 Northlake Blvd. It’s in the same commercial strip as Bolay, the restaurant specializing in healthy bowls that opened its second location earlier this month in Palm Beach Gardens.
Meats and cheeses for Jersey Mike’s subs are sliced on the spot, and the subs are topped with a blend of red wine vinegar and olive oil, according to a news release.
Operating partner Benjamin Farmer opened the new spot Nov. 16 with a grand opening fundraiser for Palm Beach Gardens Elementary School, Palm Beach Lakes High School and Palm Beach Gardens High School.
A Jersey Mike’s also opened in the Shoppes of Oakbrook, 11604 US Highway 1, last summer. There are 1,500 Jersey Mike’s open or under development across the country. It’s been named the fastest-growing restaurant for the third year in a row in 2016, according to the release. Hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day.
