Whether more medical offices will be built on the Barcelona Jupiter development, once the home of Whitehaven Mobile Home Park, is on Tuesday’s 7 p.m. council agenda.
A final vote is planned on the proposal to build four commercial buildings on four acres of vacant property fronting Military Trail within the Barcelona Jupiter apartments.
Three-fourths of the 42,000 square feet would be for a medical office. The rest would be for a retail area and two restaurants.
Culver’s ButterBurgers & Frozen Custard would be one of the restaurants. Culver’s and the other restaurant would both have outdoor seating, according to the proposal.
Total proposed for commercial development: 42,000 total square feet:
• 32,000 – medical office
• 4,000 — fast food restaurant
• 4,500 — restaurant
• 1,700 — retail
