A 50-minute cycling session in a rock concert-like atmosphere isn’t for the faint of heart.

The ability to melt off calories and stress in a cycling theater is coming to northern Palm Beach County in March, when CycleBar will open a new indoor studio in Donald Ross Village.

The CycleBar franchise is expanding throughout the country, but the one at 4550 Donald Ross Road, Suite 100, in Palm Beach Gardens is the first in the county, according to a news release. Unlike traditional gyms, the cycle studio will offer a pay-per-class model, no membership necessary.

Instructors will lead high-energy rides in the CycleTheatre, which has tiers for 48 bikes. The workouts are set to a playlist called CycleBeats, which is available to download after each session.

“Riders not only join in to get fit and burn calories, but also to relax, have fun, and be a part of a community of like-minded people,” Kim Hoss, a partner in CyclePBC, said in a news release. “CycleBar becomes a part of their lifestyle.”

The cardio workout is advertised as for all ages and fitness levels. Riders can track their performance with CycleStats and cool down with fresh fruit and enhanced water, according to the release. Aromatherapy promotes relaxation throughout the studio.
