The owners of Downtown at the Gardens are counting on a total transformation of the struggling family-oriented shopping center next to The Gardens Mall to attract shoppers and stave off more vacancies.
They pitched their ideas for the overhaul to the Palm Beach Gardens City Council at its meeting Thursday night. The plans likely won’t be formally submitted to the city until this summer, at which time they’ll be vetted by the city staff. The City Council will have to sign off on the final plan.
