Fellsmere, a community on Florida’s Treasure Coast
Now the town is growing. In 2007, it annexed some 18,000 acres more than doubling the land area of the town. But it still ranks behind Vero Beach and Sebastian in population. City officials hope the increased size will allow for revenue producing commercial development.
Fellsmere has many activities for both residents and visitors, including the annual Frog Leg Festival in January, Cracker Play Day Rodeo in March, and many festivals throughout the year attracting country music names such as Billy Ray Cyrus and Charlie Daniels.
