Sales have started at Del Webb Tradition, an age-restricted, 55-and-older residential development in Port St. Lucie that is drawing interest from South Florida.

Prices start in the $220,000s for a mix of houses and attached villas at Del Webb Tradition, part of a master-planned community in Port St. Lucie called Tradition.

More than 2,000 potential buyers attended a recent grand opening ceremony to introduce model houses built by Atlanta-based PulteGroup.

“We are getting a tremendous amount of interest from buyers in Broward and Palm Beach counties as well as those who live in the immediate area,” Brent Baker, president of the Southeast Florida division of PulteGroup, said in a prepared statement.

The product mix at Del Webb Tradition includes 1,579-square-foot attached villas with two or three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a three-car garage.

The houses range in size from 1,861 square feet to nearly 2,500 square feet. Their floor plans include two to four bedrooms, two or three bathrooms, and 2.5-car and 3-car garages.

Shared amenities include a clubhouse and gym, tennis, bocce and pickle ball courts, a swimming pool, and a dog park. – Mike Seemuth
