Culver’s restaurant opening getting closer in Jupiter

A popular Midwest restaurant is taking aim in Jupiter.

The sign has gone up in front of Barcelona Apartments on Military Trail in Jupiter for the expected fall opening of Culver’s Butterburgers & Frozen Custard, a popular restaurant chain in the upper Midwest famous for its creamy custard.

Established in 1984 in Sauk City, Wis. by dairy farmers George and Ruth Culver, Culver’s also serves burgers, chicken and sandwiches.

Culver’s has 568 restaurants nationwide and 24 restaurants in Florida, including locations in Orlando, Daytona Beach, Tampa and Naples.

The Jupiter location will be the first in Palm Beach County.
