Coffee Culture opens in Harbourside Place in Jupiter Coffee Culture Café & Eatery has opened in Jupiter’s Harbourside Place. The Old World style coffee house has areas for casual business meetings and free wireless Internet access. Outdoor tables are available. Hours are Sun-Thurs 6 a.m. – 11 p.m. Fri-Sat hours are 6 a.m. – midnight. The store opened March 11. Property in Jupiter’s Abacoa Town Center sells for $5.1 M

Colored areas were bought by FLF ATC LLC. Area in lower right hand corner is vacant and is part of purchase. Commercial property that includes Jumby Bay Island Grill and JJ Muggs Stadium Grill in Abacoa Town Center has been purchased by a company that plans to “reinvigorate life into the center.” The 92,000 square feet of commercial property, along with about three acres of vacant land, was purchased Friday for $5.1 million by FLF ATC LLC, said Josh Simon, a principal with the company. The commercial property along Town Center Drive and Main Street was purchased for $4.5 million and the vacant property for $600,000, Simon said. Panama Hatties being demolished to make room for residential units  (Photo by Bill DiPaolo) The former Panama Hatties restaurant, a popular eatery in north county, is being demolished to make room for 95 residential units on the 8-acres on the southeast corner of the Intracoastal Waterway and PGA Boulevard. The restaurant and its open-air Rum Bar closed in late August. Nick Mastroianni, who built Harbourside Place in Jupiter, is developing the project. Construction starts on $2.5 M fire station in Gardens

The new 9,000-square-foot facility will cost $2.5 million. The single-story structure will be built to withstand a Category 5 hurricane. Completion is scheduled in about eight months. The current Fire Station 2, built in 1987, is not built to current hurricane standards.
